February Challenges
Choose one, some, or all to work on through this month!
If you’ve known me for any length of time, you know I love a good challenge - workout challenges, decluttering challenges, journaling challenges, and more! It’s really how I’ve gotten some dreaded chores done. It’s how I doubled my step goal in one year after getting stuck in a rut. It’s how I make progress on projects, programs, and plans.
Below are some tasks you can complete to start taking action on some areas of your life. Or maybe you want to make more progress or improvements in those areas. Join me as we journey together in this online space.
If you complete any of these tasks, leave a comment and let me know what you did and how it went.
Planning + Time Management: Create a simple yearly overview. May out major seasons, commitments, trips, and busy months on one page.
Physical Health: Create a simple sleep-support routine. Choose 1-2 habits that help you sleep (earlier lights off, no phone in bed, stretching, consistent bedtime).
Rest + Self-Care: (similar to physical health) Choose one sleep upgrade (consistent bedtime, no phone after 9pm, darker room, calming pre-sleep routine).
Mindset + Emotional Health: Name and honor one recurring emotion. Notice one emotion that comes up often lately. Journal or reflect on what it’s telling you and one healthy way to respond when it appears.
Spiritual Life: Reflect on what you believe in this season. Journal or write a note about how your faith has changed, grown, or felt challenged recently.
Home Environment: Deep-clean one small zone. Pick one small but neglected area (microwave, fridge shelf, bathroom sink cabinet, nightstand drawers).
Digital Life: Create phone “quiet hours” (choose one daily window with notification silenced).
Relationships + Social Life: Reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in awhile and reconnect (text, call, or coffee).
Marital, Parental, Family/Household Rhythms: Schedule a 1-on-1 check-in with each child (coffee, walk, or car ride) and ask: What’s going well? What do you need more of from me?
Learning + Personal Growth: Read one long-form article or essay on a topic you don’t usually engage with (science, history, philosophy, culture) and write down 3 takeaways.
Finance: Write your “money priorities” list. What do you want money to support this year? (Peace, margin, generosity, experiences, security, etc.)
Work + Vocation: Conduct a workweek audit by tracking your time for one week and identifying one major time or energy drain to minimize.
If you complete any of these tasks, leave a comment and let me know what you did and how it went. Invite a friend to join us!
I have some other goals and another major focus / priority for this year, but I’ll try to work on some of these tasks as well, and share how things are going each week.
Or, if you’re not ready yet, come back next month for a new set of challenges to work on. I’ll be here cheering you on!

This is a good list. I am working on Spiritual Health and I’d like to add one or two from your list to work on.
