March Challenges
Choose one, some, or all to work on through this month!
If you’ve known me for any length of time, you know I love a good challenge - workout challenges, decluttering challenges, journaling challenges, and more! It’s really how I’ve gotten some dreaded chores done. It’s how I doubled my step goal in one year after getting stuck in a rut. It’s how I make progress on projects, programs, and plans.
Below are some tasks you can complete to start taking action on some areas of your life. Or maybe you want to make more progress or improvements in those areas. Join me as we journey together in this online space.
If you complete any of these tasks, leave a comment and let me know what you did and how it went.
Planning + Time Management: Track your time for 5–7 days. No fixing, just notice where your energy and time actually go.
Physical Health: Add one consistent weekly strength or mobility session. This could be light weights, resistance bands, or mobility work - just once a week, consistently.
Rest + Self-Care: Remove one draining commitment. Say no, pause, or simplify something that’s taking more than it gives this season.
Mindset + Emotional Health: Create a personal stress “early warning list.” List 5 signs you’re nearing overload (mental, emotional, physical). Then list one small response for each sign.
Spiritual Life: Designate a sacred space. Create a small prayer or quiet corner at home with a Bible, candle, or meaningful object.
Home Environment: Create or refresh a daily reset. Decide on a 10–15 minute daily reset (dishes, counters, quick tidy) and write it down somewhere visible.
Digital Life: Unsubscribe from email lists you no longer read (aim for 10–20 only).
Relationships + Social Life: Attend one group activity (book club, church group, class, walk with neighbors).
Marital, Parental, Family/Household Rhythms: Create or refresh one weekly family rhythm (shared meal, game night, walk, or check-in).
Learning + Personal Growth: Identify one non-work interest you’d love to grow (gardening, writing, genealogy, music, crafts) and set up a simple starter space or supply kit.
Finance: Close, merge, or rename 1–2 financial accounts. Reduce the mental clutter (old savings, unused credit cards, extra checking accounts) of having too many accounts.
Work + Vocation: Find one new way your skills could benefit others beyond paid work (e.g., mentoring, community service, content creation).
If you complete any of these tasks, leave a comment and let me know what you did and how it went. Invite a friend to join us!
I have some other goals and another major focus / priority for this year, but I’ll try to work on some of these tasks as well, and share how things are going each week.
Or, if you’re not ready yet, come back next month for a new set of challenges to work on. I’ll be here cheering you on!
